The Relational Third
This Dimension of the “Relational Third” as described by the psychoanalyst Jessica Benjamin, is the “Mutual Experience of Intersubjectivity”. This mutual experience of our Intersubjective Self-recognition with and within the inner self recognition of each other reflects a profoundly deeper Innermost Intimate Experience reflecting our experience of our Mutual Experience of Non-Duality Within Being-full Timeless Awareness in Time.
Mutual Self Liberation
There is this sublime ontological experience of Our Mysterious Union of Our Timeless Awareness entering within the Innermost Being-full Timeless Awareness within Another Person. This Simultaneous Mysterious Union of Being Within Timeless Awareness Together is the Luminous Being full Source of Mutual Self Liberation.
This Union is not the Union of our mind within another mind but rather this union, is the Union of our Being of our Innermost Timeless Awareness Field and Being within the Innermost Timeless Awareness Field of another human Being. Two people in Timeless Awareness can merge into Timeless Awareness in Union within Each other. Our Mutual Union within Timeless Awareness in Time is Profoundly Liberating and Profoundly Deepens our mutual experience of Our luminous Sense of the Vast Infinity of the Field of Timeless Awareness within our simultaneous Union within Timeless Awareness in Time.
Self-Liberation as Ontological Union
Self- liberation is not simply a Solipsistic Psychological experience as so so many people like to think. Self-liberation is not simply a Solipsistic Transcendental Self liberation through dissociation and detachment. Self-Liberation does not reflect our Personal Destruction of Desire and neither our withdrawal of our Personal Being from our attunement to the Personal Being of other Beings.
Neither is our self-liberation our endless moralistic self-liberation of our Being against evil, pervasive and perversive evil. Self-Liberation is not the endless Drama of Right and Wrong, the endless Drama of Good and Evil, Better and Best and even Truth and Falsity. Self-liberation is freed of and from our relentless Binary thinking and Binary Judgment. Self-Liberation is not a moral moment of Judgmental-ness. Self-Liberation is not a function of our relentless Super Ego and its endless Binary Judgement.
The Mysterious Union
This Mysterious Conjunctio, this Mysterious “Union” Within our Mutual ongoing and sustaining experience of Being in Timeless Awareness In Time and Entering into the Timeless Awareness of and within our Companionship becomes a dramatic source of Our Ontological Self Liberation. In truth Two Awarenesses are Better than One, even in the Drama of self-liberation. Self-Liberation is not a solipsistic experience.
This Mysterious Non-Dualistic Union of our personal Timeless Awareness mutually entering the personal Timeless Awareness of another Being Brings Forth this Profound Mutual Experience of Luminous Being full Equality of Consciousness. This is Equal Vision.
Equality Consciousness is our profoundly human experience that is Ontologically Neither Being Above nor Being Below another. Equal Vision is our doorway into our profound Being full Consciousness of the Infinity of Timeless Awareness within Time and Beyond Time. Self- Liberation is the experience of Infinity, the Infinity of Being and Being fullness.
Equality Consciousness is beyond Better and Best, and Beyond Good and Evil, Beyond Right and Wrong and even beyond Truth and Falsity. Equality Consciousness is Beyond Binary Judgment and Binary Vision.
Within this Intimate Non-Dualistic Being full Union of Spacious Timeless Awareness within the Spacious Timeless Awareness shared mutually within each other, there naturally arises and manifests the Luminous Vibrational Energetic Experience of Equality Non- Dual Consciousness. Our Energetic Vibrational Luminous Embodiment of Equality Consciousness is Our Doorway into Self Liberation.
Self-Liberation as The Experience of Infinity
Self-Liberation arises within in the Infinity of Our Experience of Our INFINITY Of BEING and BEINGFULLNESS. As we enter Timeless awareness, we experience the natural Infinity of Timeless Awareness as Timeless Being and Timeless Being fullness. Our unfolding experience of the Infinity of Timeless Awareness is Embodied within us as us forever and ever. We experience our own awareness as embodied INFINITY as infinite in its horizons vast and multidimensional forever and ever. Once you enter the infinity of Being and Being full as your own innermost awareness you are liberated just as you are. We do not experience infinity within our mind alone, but we experience infinity within the infinity of our own innate luminous Being full Awareness Timelessly forever and ever. Once you go through door of the INFINITY OF BEING you can never go back. You are liberated forever and ever.
Self-Liberation is not an Alchemical Hallucinatory Visionary experience. Hallucinatory Visionary experience can be really fun, can be really ecstatic and really dramatic but Hallucinatory Experience is not our Ontological Being full Self liberation as our experience of Being full INFINITY. Self-Liberation is our Being full Experience of Infinity within our Ongoing Timeless Awareness in our Vast Spacious Dimensionality of Infinite Being fullness, Cosmological Being fullness, Galactic Being fullness just as we are.
Our Luminous Being Full Ontological Union of our Being within the Infinity of Being as Timelessness awareness. Our Luminous Being Full Ontological Union of Being within Being within the Infinitely of TIMELESSNESS. Our self-liberation takes place within Timeless Infinity in Time and Beyond Time.
Our Nondual Relational Mystical Experience manifests as Timeless Infinity as Pure Being and Pure Being fullness. Our experience of the Luminous Infinitely of Being is Pervasive, Direct, Non-Conceptual, and our Experiential Timeless Knowing of Pure Being within us and Pure Timeless Being full infinity endless in its horizons.
This is the Intimacy of Timeless Awareness entering into and within the Intimacy of Timeless Awareness of and within us and between us. As Erving Polster the greatest of Gestalt Therapists would so often say “Two Awarenesses are Better than One”. Yes, even in the Drama of Self Liberation Two Awareness are better than one.” This is the Mysterious Conjunctio that takes place within the Infinity of the Being fullness of our Being and is the source of self-liberation.
This Luminous Being Full Drama of self- liberation is not the Drama of isolated and self- contained Self Sacrifice of Identity or the Biochemical Drama of Hallucinatory Solipsistic Visionary Self Experience.
Self-Liberation is Relational Experience of our Non-Dualistic Being Full Oneness within the endless Infinity of Timeless Awareness both in Time and Beyond Time. Self-Liberation is the Relational Experience of our Infinity as Timeless Awareness within the Infinity of Timeless Awareness.
Our Self-Liberation within Timeless Awareness is the Profoundly Cosmological Experience Infinite in its horizons vast and multidimensional. Timeless Awareness is Cosmological and Galactic. Timeless Awareness is also our Being full Archetypal Self Manifestation. Longchenpa emphasizes that Direct Nonconceptual Direct Awareness is necessary, and the Energetic Vibrational Dimension is profoundly necessary. Timeless Awareness and Prajna is the source of self- liberation.
Self-Liberation is the experience of Timeless Awareness as Pure Timelessness experiencing Timeless Infinity that continues Forever and Forever and Ever in the ongoing continuity of the infinity of Being and Being fullness. Infinity is Infinity without end or beginning. Infinity is INFINITE. Self-Liberation is the Ongoing Experience of Infinity. Self-Liberation is the experience of Timeless Infinity in Time and Infinity Beyond Time. Human Beings can live in the Mysterious Union of Timeless Infinity.
Ontological Intimacy and Self Liberation
Out Mutual Ontological Intimacy of our Pure Non-Dualistic Luminous Vibrational Being Full Timeless Awareness of Timeless Consciousness entering into our Mutual Union of Timeless Consciousness within the Luminous Vibrational Being Full Consciousness of Pure Being in Time and Beyond Time. This is our Ontological Being full Self liberation! This is the Mysterious Conjunctio of Infinity within Timeless Infinity.
Mutual Embodied Timeless Awareness in Time
There is our Unfolding of Profound Direct Experiential Knowingness of Timeless Awareness within Timeless Awareness of Pure Being. This experience is the Mysterious Conjunctio elaborated by Carl Jung as the Relational Condition of Mutual Self Liberation Forever and Ever.
For Jung as well As for the Dzogchen Masters of Self liberation, Self-Liberation is a Relational Experience and not a Solipsistic Contained Moment or a Solipsistic Phantasmagorical Hallucinogenic event. This is not the Isolated Self liberation of Transcendental Dissociative Experience of Self Liberation or the Hallucinogenic state in search of Visionary Personification.
This Ontological Drama of self-liberation is not the function of our belief of a religion or the person privacy of Pure Contemplative experience and neither is this the drama of drug induced Being full hallucinations. This is the Bliss of Self Liberation of our Being full Timelessness Union of our Awareness within the Field of Mutual Awareness of our companion in Time and Beyond Time.
This Mutual Dimension of Non-Dual Being full Union of Timeless Awareness of one person entering within and into the Timeless Awareness of another person and this Timeless Union of Consciousness within Cosmological Consciousness naturally brings forth the ongoing of Infinite Continuity of Non-Dual Luminous Being Full Cosmological Experience within us and within our inter-subjective Cosmological Union of Infinity.
This Union of Timeless Awareness within the Timeless awareness of another human being brings forth the profoundly natural experience of our human ontological Being full Intimate self-liberation of Non- Dual Timeless Awareness in Cosmological Timelessness. This experience of Non-Dual Timeless Being Full Cosmological Awareness is profoundly self-liberating as the Doorway of and into the Infinity of Timeless Being and Being fullness. Self-Liberation is a Timeless Event in the Infinity of Timelessness Awareness Being Fully Alive Forever and Forever.
Self-Liberation is not some unique otherness. It is not solipsistic otherness or hallucinatory otherness. Self-Liberation is the Infinite Bliss of our Ordinary Living Being and Being fullness.
This Dzogchen understanding as articulated was articulated by Longchenpa the 14th Master of Master who left the monastery, lived in a cave with two wives and a number of children. He was not Institutionalized conceptually or personally. He lived in the Bliss of the Ordinary. He lived in the Self-liberation of the Being full Freedom of the Infiniteness of Infinity.
Longchenpa would say that Simply Being in Timeless Awareness and in Time integrating NOWNESS into Timeless Awareness is Self-Liberation. Longchenpa did not foster the obsessional compulsive endless ritualistic compulsive experience of most religious practice. A person does not earn or merit self-liberation like a dog being rewarded for new tricks.
Longchenpa was actually free of Tradition. His experience was the ongoing Continuity of Timeless Being full Infinity unfolding in Timeless Awareness and in Time. For Longchenpa We are Timeless Being full Infinity unfolding in Timelessness and in Time. Longchenpa knew that self-liberation and Infinity were intimately related and were the same luminous experience of the Nature of Pure Being as Pure Consciousness.
For Longchenpa, Dzogchen is not a systemic theoretical mentalistic tradition. Dzogchen is not a new Religion; Dzogchen does not belong to any tradition, and neither does Dzogchen belong to Culture. Dzogchen does not belong to any culture. Namkai Norbu would often say these same statements before presenting his lectures.
Dzogchen is simply our real existential ontological condition just as we are. Dzogchen is Reality. Dzogchen is the Actuality of Reality. Dzogchen does not belong to any Tradition. Dzogchen does not belong to any Culture. Dzogchen is our Real Condition. And finally, Dzogchen is Galactic or Cosmological. This means Dzogchen is our experience of Cosmological Luminous Infinity in the Freedom of Being full Openness.
Dzogchen is not a function of intellectual belief. Dzogchen can never ever be Institutionalized. Dzogchen is natural Knowing of Timeless Awareness in Timeless Consciousness.
Deathless Awareness and Relational Union
In Dzogchen Language this is our profound experience of Our Timeless Awareness entering into the Timeless Awareness of each Other In Time. This Union of Our Own Innermost Timeless Awareness within the Innermost Timeless Awareness of the Other remains in Time and this Timeless Mysterious Timeless Union can continue to exist even as Time Dissolves and Time Disappears. Timeless Awareness continues Even as the Event of Death Happens. The Event of Death is the ending of Time and our Being Remains in Being full Timelessness. In the Event of Death, our form disappears and what remains is our Timeless Being full Luminous Being full Awareness.
In Death Our Forms Dissolve and Time Stops. And YET we are still Being Fully Existing and still remaining in Timeless Awareness as Timeless Awareness. We remain life after life and death after death in Timelessness Being Full Ontological Luminous Deathless Awareness.
This is Longchenpa’s great understanding about the Essence of Dzogchen Praxis. Longchenpa lived in the 14th century and was a greatest Master of Dzogchen and the Luminous teacher of Timeless Awareness in Time. He was neither a lover of emptiness or a lover of absence or lover of voidness or lover of Being- lessness.
Deathless Awareness and Existential Death
What remains in Existential Death, is Unborn and Undying Deathless Timeless Being Full Awareness. Deathless Timeless Being Full Awareness is Forever and Forever and Forever. Moreover, there is This Mysterious Union (Conjunctio) of two people who live and die within Deathless Timeless Awareness and who continue to Be in Deathless Union life after life and death after death, forever and ever. This union can be with one person, or many persons. This union can be within families and within friendships. This union can be husband and wife, This Union can be secret lovers. This union can be old friends. This union can be brothers and sisters. This union belongs to everyone. This union is not simply a function of being in a Club or Religion or Cult.
This is the understanding and experience of the Mysterious Conjunctio that Carl Jung so bravely and completely wrote about. The title of his vast book is The Mysterious Conjunctio. This is the living experience of the personal Union of Timeless Awareness within Timelessness Awareness of Two People in Love forever and ever. In Truth Love within Timeless Awareness destroys Death and destroys the Terror of Annihilation. True love is Pure Being in Union with Pure Being. This experience is for everyone just as they Are. This experience is present even now within us and intrinsic to the Timeless Nature of Consciousness.
Ontological Intimacy as Timeless Awareness within Timeless Awareness
This Being full intimate non-dual experience of Being full Timeless Awareness entering into Being full Timeless Awareness of another person results in the Existential Continuous Unfolding of Timeless Awareness in the Infinity of Cosmological Union that continues Life after Life and Death after Death.
Timeless Awareness Destroys the Finality of Death. This the true luminous ontological power of Existential Dzogchen. Dzogchen destroys ontological death and destroys the endless Human Terror of ontological Death. This is the true meaning of Vadjra Kumara.
Timeless Awareness destroys the Terror of Death and destroys the terror of endless relentless ontological annihilation anxiety. This is ontologically fantastic. This is direct and natural experiential self-liberation. This experience is not omnipotence or would be omniscience. We can experience the Intimacy of Timeless Awareness in the Mysterious Conjunctio with those we love in life love through life and love through death after death. Of course, Our Animal companions can enter Timeless Awareness and experience life after life and death after death.
There is no Last judgement event in Timeless Awareness. Timeless Awareness is beyond Binary Thinking and the Binary Judgment of our Mentalistic Mind. Direct Perception and Direct Gnosis does not reflect our Judgmental mind. Our Judgmental Binary mind is always caught in right and wrong, good and evil, better and best, and even truth and falsity. And our Judgmental Binary Mind can torture us and torture others with its endless Binary Judgmental Ness.
This Primordial Being Full Non- Dualistic Intersubjective Experience of our Innermost Being full Awareness entering within Timeless Awareness and through Timeless Awareness into Timeless infinity of Cosmological Consciousness of a beloved Person or Persons through love. This Mysterious Union of Timeless Awareness with Timeless Awareness can remain in Being full Actually for Forever and Ever.
This Timeless Awareness Union goes beyond time and goes beyond our Terror of Ontological Annihilation. This an essential understanding of Dzogchen as express by Longchenpa.
This is Self-Liberation within our Naturalistic Ontological Being Full Realm of Immanence. Deathless Awareness is the ongoing experience of Ontological Immanence. Deathless Awareness means our Primordial Awareness is Deathless, forever and ever Deathless. Unborn and Undying. Deathless Awareness is the Infinity of Timeless Awareness. We can live within Timeless Awareness Life after Life and death after death. Timeless Awareness is the Infinity of Space and of Infinity of Time. Timeless Awareness is the Infinity of Self Liberation.
Padmashambhava and Mysterious Conjunctio
The Life of Padmashambhava is a life in Union with his Intimate companions in Timeless Awareness within in the Union of the Mysterious Conjunctio of Timeless Awareness within Timeless Awareness. Padmashambhava live in Timeless Union with Yeshe Togal and also lived in Timeless Union with Mandarava.
These personal histories elaborate the Power of Self Liberation through Living within Timeless Awareness in Timelessness and in time within a Person. This Union of Two Persons within Timeless Awareness in Time is the Mysterious Conjunctio that Jung wrote about so beautifully and completely. This is the ontological power of mutual transmission of the field Timeless Luminosity with This Timeless Personal Union within each other endlessly.
Sublime Ontological Experience and Desire
This is the sublime Ontological experience of the Duality of beings within the Non duality of Being and the Non-Duality of Being within the duality of two beings. As Erving Polster the great and wonderful master of Gestalt Psychotherapy would so often say “Two Awarenesses are better than One”. Erving Polster would also say through our awareness of our lived experience within our luminous Being fullness within each Other we experience the freedom of Being and Freedom of Being fullness. All experience is the experience of our self-manifestation of Being. All Desire is the Desire of Being for Being.
Gautama thought and really taught that Desire was the source of suffering. He did not know that All desire is the desire for Being and desire brings for the manifestation of Being within Beings. Without desire there is no self-manifestation of Being and Being fullness. Desire brings forth Being full Meaning and Being full Life.
Gautama did not know Being. He only knew Emptiness of Being and the Absence of Being. He thought that all phenomena were Beingless. He thought all phenomena was an illusion as there was no ontological Being manifesting Phenomena.
He did not know that All Phenomena are Forms of Being. Gautama did not experience the Beingness of his own Being. Or the Beingness of his wife and Beingness of child. Gautama was a Being-less being. He did not experience the Being fullness of his Kingdom.
Gautama thought that Phenomena was without a Being full Base and without Being full Ontological support. Gautama did not know or experience the Ontological Dimension of Phenomena. Gautama thought Phenomena was Empty of Being and Beingless. Gautama thought his self was empty of Being and his essence was absence of Being. Gautama thought all life was suffering because he thought all life was empty of Being and Beingless.
Thus, for Gautama, His option for self-liberation was to dissociate and detach from everything and everyone. He detached from all desire. He lived within a Transcendental State wherein there was no one, no who-ness, no self-including, including him. As Longchenpa describes there was only ABSENCE, Liberation through Absence. This is our powerful Transcendental form of self-liberation. Liberation through Absence. Absence of what? Absence of Being and Being fullness!
Timeless Self Liberation
However, we understand that our experience of Timeless Awareness Being within Union within the Timeless Awareness of another person brings forth profound self-liberation through our Union of Immanence. This wonderful and profound non- dual union of Being full Intimacy within Being full Intimacy is foundational Source of Self Liberation of our Being and Being fullness of Human Beings.
In our pre- reflective concrete operational mentalistic cognitive ideational of mind alone, we cannot experientially Know or experientially experience our Ontological Dimension of Embodied Being and Being full Timeless Awareness and the Profound Infinity of Being full Timelessness. Timeless Awareness metabolizes experience and the density of experience bringing forth Luminosity and the Vital Energy of luminosity of self-liberation.
This living dimension of mutual union within mutual self-recognition is our Non-Dual Non-Conceptual experience of Timeless Awareness within Non- Dual Timeless Awareness both in Time and beyond Time.
The Four Dimensions of Time
There are Four Times Dimensions of Time: The Present Dimension, The Past Dimension, The Future Time Dimension and Most Importantly the Fourth Time Dimension which is Timeless Awareness. We can experience Timeless Awareness in Time. The Time of the Present, The Time of the Past and the Time of the Future!
The Fourth Time is the Time of Timeless Awareness and Timeless awareness can be in Present Time. Timeless Awareness can be present in Nowness and Nowness can be present in Timeless awareness in Time. This was for Longchenpa the unfolding process of self-liberation. Nowness in Time can be within Timeless Awareness as the unfolding source of self-liberation.
Now what is so wonderful is that two persons or even two or more persons can be in Timeless Awareness in Time for a Long Time and when Time dissolves Timeless Awareness continues life after life and death after death and yes Time After Time.
The Being full Union of Timeless Awareness within Timeless awareness continues as Timeless Union in which Time dissolves and in which Time reappears.
The ongoing continuity of True Love takes place in and as Timeless Awareness in Time. Timeless True Love is Timeless Self Liberation infinite in its horizons, vast and multidimensional. Timeless Self Liberation liberates us from Ontological Death.
This understanding Is of the most importance to understand experientially and understand pre-reflectively the power of our Direct Knowingness as Gnosis or Direct Jnana. This profound direct Timeless experiential knowingness as Gnosis or Jnana dissolves Annihilation Anxiety, as the Terror of Ontological Annihilation.
This is our Profound Naturalistic Power of our Being full Energetic Awareness entering into the Non-Dual Being Full Energetic Timeless Awareness within our self of the beloved Other or Others. This is not our tiny mind cognitively and conceptually knowing and entering another tiny mind. This is not simply mind recognition or object recognition mentalistic cognitive recognition.
This is the Natural Deeply Experiential Drama of Primordial Timeless Awareness in Time. This is the Personal Drama of Primordial Timeless Awareness in Time entering Primordial Timeless Awareness in Time within a person or within persons or within families, and or even within Tribal Community.
Primordial Timeless Awareness is not simply Luminous Knowingness, but Timeless Awareness is intrinsically within the Vibrational ENERGETIC Luminous Spacious Dimension of Being, Luminous Deathless Being. Ontological Being is Deathlessness. Ontological Timeless Awareness is Deathless. Self-Liberation is a Deathless Event.
Deathless Being and Being fullness is within Timeless Awareness and is invoked as Deathless Awareness. This experience of our Being full Timeless Awareness in Time is Deathless Awareness and is profoundly intrinsic to and within our profound human experience and self-liberating experience through love and through the Union of Timeless Awareness within Timeless Awareness.
So often self-liberation is expressed as a Solipsistic Self-Absorbed experience of “self-liberation through some form of hallucinatory Visionary Psychological drama. This Monastic Visionary framing of self-liberation is totally consistent through most religious traditions. In every monastery there is the Patriarchal Abbot and Patriarchal Rule.
There is the similar Solipsistic formulation of detachment and solipsistic devotions to the Abbot and submission to Patriarchal authority. And there is even same Visionary form of God as an Entity of Being. God is an Entity. God is Thing.
BEING IS GOD
Actually, Being is God and God is Being. God is not an Entity. And you are not an entity. Perhaps even your dog is not an entity. An entity is another word for a Thing,
This drama of self-liberation is not the Distorted Grandiose function of OMNIPOTENCE and OMNISCIENCE as so many believers believe in Grandiose Divine Realization where in a person is omnipotence and omniscient. In contrast, as The Dali Lama says:
“I am the Dali Lama; “I do not know everything and I cannot will everything. I do love that people love me.”
This “third” profoundly experiential relational dimension of Our Pure Being full Timeless Awareness Field of Being Entering into the Being full Non Dualistic Timeless Awareness field of the Being of another human Being is so often little experienced or little understood by the endless religions of human experience is that each in their own way can become subtle forms of the Master Slave relationship Contextualized in Grandiose Judgmental-ness as well the Wealth of Royalty.
What is profoundly distorted is the Illusion of Divinity as the Patriarchal Superego Dominating Personal states and Political states. God As Judgement, God as the Truth of Judgement.
This profoundly shared experience of the Oneness or Non-Duality of Timeless Being and Timeless Being fullness within each other can take place within life and within any life. This experience of the Non-Duality of Timeless Awareness naturally takes place between mother and baby. This Being full Non- Dual Union opens for the baby the profound experience of Timeless Awareness in Time throughout their entire life and beyond Time and beyond Death.
This profound experience of Timeless Awareness within time and Beyond Time is not a function of some simplistic religious ideational belief or some simplistic spiritualistic ideation of grandiose hope of the dumb drama of winning self-liberation or losing self-liberation. Self-liberation becomes the stupid drama of success or failure.
Timeless Awareness can be both beyond time and can be in time. Nowness within Timeless Awareness is Self-liberation within Present Time. To experience the Past within Timeless awareness is to liberate the Past and to experience the Future within Timeless Awareness is to liberate the Future. This is worth Knowing and experiencing. This is Longchenpa ‘s Sublime experience and Sublime understanding.
To be in Timeless awareness and then to bring into our Timelessness Time, the Time of Nowness, Present Time-ness, is self-liberation of the Present time. Timeless Awareness is the powerful Metabolizer of Human Experience metabolizing all experience into Timeless Energy and Timeless light and Timeless Being and Being fullness.
Nowness as Being or Being full NOWNESS is integrated Completely within Timeless Awareness as the path of the Gift of Self Liberation.
This Being full Experience of Timeless Mutuality is not simply the cognitive function of mind conceptually and ideationally knowing and recognizing another mind. Here the wording of experiential non dualistic experience is not simply mentalistic objectified ideational recognition of an OBJECT. This is not Object recognition. Object recognition can be Beingless and can be the Schizoid knowing of Data knowing Data.
This drama of self-liberation is our non-conceptual intimate felt sense of Ontological or Being full relational experience of Timeless Awareness of and as Being full Union forever and ever, and life after life and death after death. Timeless Awareness in Time is Deathless Awareness. This is our Non-Dualistic Timeless Knowing of Being within the Being of each other which is Being itself. All Desire is the Desire for Being and of Being.
The profound experiential Being-less lack of Non- Dualistic Timeless Awareness in Time can be an endless absence that relentlessly take place in many interpersonal forms of living relatedness and living deadness. Being lessness results in our living a Beingless Life and Beingless death.
Religious Abstraction as Identity in the Light of Dzogchen
Our endless human lack of Timeless Non- Dualistic Being full knowing of Being within Being often results in personal collective experience becoming a form of Abstraction. Abstraction is a form of schizoid Being lessness. Abstraction is not a phenomenological experience of lived experience. Abstraction is mental and mentalized ideation that someone or many choose to believe in. Belief is an ideational abstraction of experience and not a Living Being full experience. Phenomenological experience opens the door of Truth as Aletheia. Not the tiny door of Truth as Critical Judgement. Yes, the last Judgement is a Joke, an abstraction of Terror.
Much of human mentalistic thought is an Abstraction. Both Phenomenology and Dzogchen understands much of our understanding is simply Abstractions. Abstractions are simply idealistic ideation of abstracted experience. Abstraction takes us far beyond our living or lived experience. The word Tradition is an Abstraction. Religion is an abstraction. Abstraction considers that the essence of phenomena is known cognitively and abstractly. This abstraction is simply an abstract ideational thought, an ideation mentalistically meaning nothing whatsoever.
Abstractions often give and provide for us a mentalistic sense of identity. These abstractions allow us to place our self in time and in space. These abstractions are ‘As If’ identities and confer a sense of collective belonging which is ‘AS IF’. Much of Religion may be ‘As If’ experience.
Mutual Inter Dependency of Mutual Timeless Awareness in Time is a primordial organizer of our earliest mutual Being full relational life. Even in our immediate experience of mutual Timeless Awareness Relatedness, there is the experience of the mutual Being and Being fullness of mother within baby and baby within mother. Our representational mind cannot experience this nonrepresentational union of the field of Being full awareness which is nonverbal non conceptual Being full knowingness. In this field of mutual Being and mutual Being fullness we experience our Non-Duality of Being and Mutual Being fullness within the separateness of form. Our forms are separate and different. And yet we are in Timeless Awareness within Timeless Awareness. This is Beatific Experience, and Beatific Being fullness.
This Naturalistic Beatific Being fullness can Continue life after life and death after death.
Form alone meeting form alone can be a schizoid or Beingless relationship. But Timeless Being full formlessness meets Timeless Being full formlessness between mother and child, lover and lover, friend and friend, husband and wife.
Form meeting form alone may be being fully absent relatedness. Timeless Formless Awareness within Timeless Formless Awareness liberates us from our schizoid existence of Being full Absence. This Being full Formless Recognition is the experience and seeing and knowing of formlessness Being fullness often manifested through the resonance of the Mutual Gaze of the Human Face. Our human face is a doorway into Being and Being fullness. Actually, the face of our animals is also a doorway into the natural field of Being and Being fullness.
Alas, Gautama did not seem to have the good fortune to have this experience of Timeless Awareness in Time. So, he attempted to go beyond Time and go beyond Time and go beyond Time in order to experience Liberation Beyond Time. He naturally made the unhappy use of his Dissociation experience and Detachment experience and his Disembodiment experience. He then entered into Transcendental Dissociated form of knowingness which is Nothingness or Absence. In transcendental awareness there is no one there. There is ‘no there there.’ In Transcendental awareness there is only absence. Liberation through Absence. Liberation through non-Being and non Being fullness.
Most of all there is an absence of self and an absence of Timeless Awareness in Time and Timeless Awareness beyond time. Gautama discovered for human beings the Transcendental Approach to Self-Liberation. He discovered the dissociative detachment and transcendence of our human experience as self-liberation. This is the “no one there” style of self- liberation. You are not even there. There is ‘no There there’. There is only Absence as Longchenpa describes. Absence is another word for Emptiness of Being or The Absence of Being.
Mind knowing mind alone is mind knowing the phenomena of mind without the ontological personal dimension of Being fullness or Being. The human schizoid state is the absence of knowing Being and Being fullness. This transcendental experience is the knowing of the form of human Being without the Being full presence of Timeless Awareness knowing Timeless Awareness or Timeless Being fullness within each other.
Timeless Union-The Mysterious Conjunctio
In our becoming aware of our awareness within our self and within the other, there is the profound opening of Timeless Awareness Entering the Timeless Awareness of the other. This union of Timeless Awareness within the Timeless Awareness opens the experience of Timeless Union forever and ever. Timeless Awareness within Timeless Awareness is called Deathless awareness in Dzogchen. Deathless Awareness is Timeless Awareness both within Time and Beyond Time simultaneously.
The union of our Timeless Awareness within Timeless Awareness of the other, opens the dramatic and wonderful experience of Being beyond the Present Time and beyond the Future Time and Beyond the Past Time. The Union of Timeless Awareness within Timeless Awareness is Timelessness and can be forever and ever. Timeless Awareness is beyond the Death of Time.
TIMELESS AWARENESS AS SOURCE
Longchenpa describes Timeless Awareness as Source, Timeless Awareness is our experience of the Ground of Being. For you and I to enter Timeless Awareness is to enter our GROUND OF BEING As Source. To be in Timeless Awareness is to participate in Source as Source. As the Nyingma prayer says may I experience all phenomena as Source. To experience phenomena as Source is to experience the Ground of Being manifesting Being as the different infinite forms of Being. Being permeates all experience. To give up Being and pursue emptiness and absence and nothingness negates Being. To experience Timeless Awareness is to experience the Dharmakaya or the Ground of Being as Source.
Some of us enter Timeless Awareness within the beloved other who is in Timeless awareness and within the union of Timeless awareness. Within this Union within Timeless awareness Union May be there forever and ever. There are those who think there is only nothingness, or only absence or only emptiness and everything and everyone is a delusion. Yes, my beloved child you are a delusion, and you do not exist and never did exist.
This understanding is profoundly Limiting and Epistemologically Distorted. This would be philosophically illusionary version of human lived experience is a borderline schizoid form of thought in that illusionary delusionary lived experience lacks Reality and Actuality. This perception lacks Gnosis, and Jnana is a foundational distortion of Conscious Reality. This is AS If Existence. This As If existence is profoundly sad and lacks Pure Consciousness.
This epistemological distortion is Ma Rigpa and this distortion is our description of IGNORANCE. Ignorance of what? Why Being of course! The ignorance of Being and the Reality of Being is profoundly Schizoid personally and collectively. Schizoid is Voidness, Being Less Emptiness, and Absence of embodied Being full Reality.
Time is the profound medium of Existence. There are Four Time Dimensions. The time dimension of the past, the time dimension of the Present, and the time dimension of the future. And then there is the fourth Time which is Timeless Awareness. This Ontological Timeless Awareness can be in Time. The Nowness of the Present time dimension can be in Ontological Timeless Awareness. The Nowness of the past time dimension can be in Timeless Awareness and the Nowness of the Future time dimension can be in the Nowness of Timeless Awareness.
The mutual union of Timeless Awareness within Timeless awareness results in the Union of Timeless Awareness within Timeless Awareness beyond Time and Beyond the Death of Time. In the Dzogchen our Naturalistic Experience of Timeless Awareness is also called Deathless Awareness. When a person is only objectively known cognitively and mentally, they do not experience their ontological awareness of embodied awareness, the ontological awareness of Being fullness.
This mutually felt sense of Being full Timeless Knowingness may not take place unless one has a felt sense of embodied Timeless awareness. This is not the cognitive or intellectual recognition of objectivity but of our subjective experience of and as Timeless Awareness in Time.
Only awareness knows awareness, and only Timeless Awareness Knows Timeless awareness. This knowing is not a function of our wonderful mentalistic Intelligence, this knowing is the knowingness of our Being knowing the Being and Being fullness of the being of the other. This knowing is non conceptual and pre-reflective knowing. This natural knowing is our phenomenological Being full knowing experiencing the Being full Beingness of Timeless Awareness in Time.
Recognition is not a submission to power. Recognition is the mutual felt sense of Being fullness knowingness knowing Being full knowingness within each other. There are two ways of knowing.
Two Ways of Knowing
One way is our Mind conceptually knowing phenomena and the other way is our Awareness knowing Being and the Being-fullness of phenomena. Our mind awareness integration is necessary for relational life that goes beyond schizoid existence or Beingless existence, of the existence of absence or emptiness of Being. Yes, voidness is Being lessness, yes emptiness is Being lessness, yes absence is Being lessness. Yes, Buddhism can be Being lessness. Gautama declared this many centuries ago. Because of the Being lessness of Phenomena, all phenomena are empty of Being and empty of Base. There is no ontological Ground of Phenomena. This is not the truth of Dzogchen.
Being-full Transmission
Beyond words and letters there is a transmission of primordial awareness, and this transmission does not belong to any tradition but is the nature of our human awareness. Our primordial awareness is the power of our Being knowing Being. Our mind knows phenomena and our awareness knows the Being of phenomena. When we live within mind alone, we live within a Beingless existence. Beingless existence is Schizoid existence. Schizoid existence is Emptiness of Being and Being-fulness. Schizoid existence is heartless, and Beingless. Schizoid existence is ‘mind alone’ existence. Technology is often, a mind alone existence.
Many forms of religion are mind alone or ideation alone belief systems. They are often systems of abstraction. The source of both western and eastern religions is a belief is some form of ideation. As John Henry Newman declares belief is an intellect ascent to an ideation. Belief is an ideation experience. Early Buddhism as described by Gautama is mind alone and is ideational. Faith is an ideational ascent and an affective ascent to ideation. Faith does depend on lived experience. Faith as belief is ideational. True Faith is Deeply Experiential. Doubt is doubt of the intellectual assent to the ideation. There is an ontological faith of lived experience and lived experiential knowingness that is beyond doubt.
Mind knows phenomena and when there is no Being full source of phenomena, Phenomena will have no Being full essence of Being full Base. Phenomena becomes Beingless and Meaninglessness. Thus, phenomena are an illusion and delusion. Our phenomenological sense of self is Beingless and meaningless and an illusion.
There is no Being in phenomena in the phenomena of Buddhism. Buddhism is a Beingless tradition and selfless tradition. Buddhism is a tradition of the experience of empty of Being. Thus, for human beings all Being full existence and sense of self is a delusion and illusion. And the only way out of this existential agony is detachment and dissociation and transcendence of what is or what is not. This is a kind of let me out of here path. The persons enter a state of non-Being, a state of accepting absence and voidness and emptiness.
Of course, within this Ghost like frame of existence Gautama would have to say all life is suffering. Meditation is a transcendental experience where one goes beyond and beyond and beyond experience and still goes beyond into nothingness and emptiness and voidness and profound states of absence. Buddhism is the path of liberation through Absence.
No wonder Gautama with this view and this experience of Life says all life is suffering and all life is agony. This is a profoundly distorted and distorting view. Desire is the source of suffering. This is a distorted dissociative statement of schizoid experience. Schizoid experience is the experience that is absence of Being and there is Ontological and Psychological Emptiness or Voidness or Absence.
Let me quote Hegel’s understanding about the study of Phenomena.
Hegel, in his magnificent Phenomenology of Spirit suggest that in our study of the phenomenology of our lived experience of phenomena, we can approach phenomena, as a thing, as an object, as a concretized experience of cause and effect, as a concrete operation of viewing and mentalistic thinking, and this concreteness will give us a reasonable objectified understanding of phenomena. This objective rational, reasonable understanding in a word is an Exoteric experience and exoteric understanding.
Hegel then suggests we can experientially go further and go beyond our exoteric experience and our exoteric understanding of our human experience. When we gaze more subtly, more deeply, more directly through and within our own innate and innermost FIELD of our Primordial Timeless Awareness, we can enter our Esoteric experience of the Luminous Being-fullness of human beings.
Our innermost field of Primordial awareness is both non conceptual direct knowingness and pre-reflective knowing within our field of our innermost Primordial Awareness. Primordial Awareness is our direct non - conceptual knowingness, our Gnosis, our Jnana. Primordial awareness is our direct non conceptual knowing of Being and the Luminous Being fullness of a being. This foundational innermost Being full Primordial spacious Awareness is the very essence of our Humanness. Our primordial awareness is our Being Knowing Being. Our Being is Consciousness. The Being of our Being is Consciousness. Consciousness knows Consciousness experientially and directly.
